Isabel Meenan

European Patent & Design Attorney, Chartered Patent Attorney, Registered Irish Patent Attorney

Isabel is part of our team in Belfast and is a European Patent and Design Attorney and a Chartered Patent Attorney as well as an IP Litigator. She joined Ansons and M&D in 2012 after training with a leading UK firm in Oxford.

Her role involves identifying and protecting the valuable and diverse interests of her clients, who range from individual inventors through to start-ups, SMEs and large international and multinational corporations. She advises on obtaining and enforcing patents and designs across varied technology sectors, especially mechanical engineering and chemistry, also providing strategic advice regarding the infringement and validity of patents and designs.

Isabel is fluent in German, with professional memberships which include the European Patent Institute (EPI), UNION-IP and the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA).
